Santa Express

In December Brayden and Ryan got to take a ride on the Santa Express train.

Ouch!

Paul and the boys spent a few days with some of our friends at their cabin during spring break. While they were there they rode motorcycles. Paul crashed and dislocated his finger and chipped a bone in his knuckle.

Our Dogs

I thought I would post a picture of our two dogs. Jada is the big one and Zoey is the little one. They are so sweet to each other and a great part of our family.

Crossing Over

Brayden earned his Webelos badge in June and crossed over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. He earned all 20 activity badges so he earned the Summit Award. He also earned his Arrow of Light.

Beautiful Alyssa is now fifteen!

Watch out world our sweet Alyssa has turned fifteen and is begging for her driver's permit, yikes! My parents even gave her a car, double yikes!! Anyway here are fifteen reasons why we love Alyssa. 15 - She is adorable 14 - She loves to read 13 - She loves children 12- She is smart 11 - She loves music 10 - She plays the trombone 9 - She plays the piano 8 - She is sweet 7 - We totally trust her (huge, right?) 6 - She is a good friend 5 - She is honest 4 - She is loving 3 - She is a great big sister 2 - She has great core values and will stick to them no matter what 1 - She is one of a kind and we love her more than words can express

Pityriasis Rosea

We always end up learning about odd medical conditions from Brayden. Last year it was throat stones (like kidney stones, but in your throat), this year it is this crazy rash. Apparently (according to his doctor) his body had an allergic reaction to a strain of virus (the common cold) that he had. Poor guy was in pain and itching for the whole month of December, it took six weeks to go away. The Doctor had mentioned that a large spot on his arm was called the herald spot and that was where the rash has started. When people would ask Brayden about this rash he would say, "It is just an allergic reaction to a virus called Harold." So his rash got the nickname of Harold and I would ask him everyday how Harold was doing. I had to bring documentation to the school from our doctor stating that he was not contagious, but you know 5th graders he was still known as "rash boy" for a month.

December Birthdays

Tyler and Ryan both have birthdays in December, Tyler on the 6th and Ryan on the 7th.

Tyler turned 13!
